Simply Perfect Cranberry Sauce

Sometimes simple is better, and this cranberry sauce is proof.

Ingredients, Cranberry Sauce

  • 1 bag of whole cranberries (frozen or refrigerated)

  • 2 oranges zested and juiced

  • 1 cup of water

  • .5 - 1 cup of your favorite Siloam Syrup

  • .5 teaspoon of kosher or sea salt

  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract (you can omit this if you use the Not so Vanilla syrup)

Instructions, Cranberry Sauce

  • In a small pot over medium-high heat add your cranberries, water, and orange juice

  • Keep stirring until the mixture reaches a boil, then add the syrup, salt and zest and turn the heat down to medium-low and continue stirring every few minutes to keep the mixture from scalding

  • When the cranberries start to split you can turn the mixture down to simmer and allow to continue cooking for 10-15 minutes

  • Allow to cool completely before tasting and then add more syrup or salt as desired
