Apple Pie Sour Cocktail

Sour cocktails have a long history, I won’t bore you with that here though, as this page is for recipes and not stories. I will say, that thanks to the Apple Spice simple syrup and the bright lemon, this cocktail transitions really well between seasons.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 - 2 oz of whiskey or Apple Brandy

  • 1 oz of freshly squeezed lemon juice (it MUST be fresh)

  • 1 oz of Silaom Syrups Apple Spice syrup

Instructions

  • pour the whiskey, lemon juice, and simple syrup into a shaker half-filled with ice

  • shake the ingredients until very well chilled and then strain into a double rocks glass over ice

  • garnish with a lemon twist
