Winter Punch, Cocktail

I love this recipe not only because it is delicious but also because it is perfectly suited for a single serving or for a pitcher for a group!

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz whiskey

  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice

  • .75 oz Persephone

  • 2 oz red wine

  • Ginger ale to top (roughly 2 oz)

  • 4 blackberries

  • Fresh rosemary sprig

Instructions

  • In a shaker muddle the blackberries, then add the whiskey, lemon juice, syrup, and red wine, top with ice and shake until well chilled

  • Double strain into a wine glass or a coup glass and top with chilled ginger ale

  • Garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig that is seared with a flame until it lightly smokes (the garnish prep is optional)
