The Lydia, Cocktail

You can make this cocktail with vodka OR tequila and it is delicious! I also love this recipe because it uses pure cranberry juice so you can truly adjust the balance of sweet and tart to your preference.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz vodka or tequila

  • .25 oz Drambuie

  • .25 oz triple sec

  • 2 oz cranberry (pure cranberry juice, unsweetened and no other fruit juices)

  • 1 oz Persephone syrup

  • Lemon twist, red ribbon, and sugar to garnish

Instructions

  • Run a lemon wedge around the rim of your coup glass, and gently dip the glass into the sugar, set aside

  • In a shaker half-filled with ice pour the vodka (or tequila), drambuie, triple sec, cranberry, and syrup

  • Shake until well chilled, and strain into your sugar rimmed coupglass

  • Garnish with a lemon twist
